- Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has spent the season on loan at Arsenal
- He overcame a rough start and is now an important part of Arsenal’s team
Dani Ceballos had a rough start to his time at Arsenal but has managed to find his rhythm after the restart. This could have a lot to do with the player’s confidence and form but also Arsenal’s many changes in coaching. However, since the restart the Real Madrid loanee has managed to find his rhythm and is now considered an important part of Arsenal’s team. He’s considered by many to be Arsenal’s best players since Premier League restarted and has played in all 11 matches.
This revival in confidence and form could possibly lead to another year on loan at Arsenal. But Real Madrid will most likely look forward to selling the Spanish midfielder. Zidane is not a big fan of Ceballos and Los Blancos have plans to sell players they consider redundant to their needs in order to finance a bid for Mbappe in 2021.
Ceballos has also been linked with a possible return to Real Betis. He has played for them before joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2017 but limited playing time under coach Zinedine Zidane has forced him to look for options elsewhere. The 23-year-old is valued at €32 million by Transfermarkt, a fee that might be too high for Real Betis.
