Injuries & Suspensions

Real Madrid are still without the services of many injured players. Sergio Ramos, Eden Hazard, Dani Carvajal, Fede Valverde and Luka Jović are all out. Mariano didn’t train with the squad so he will also miss Saturday’s match. Real finally get a true right back returning as Alvaro Odriozola is in the squad.
Sevilla will be without left-back Escudero. Suso and Acuña are also doubts for the match. Vaclík is questionable after missing Sevilla’s Champions League match against Chelsea. Meanwhile, Fernandez and Bounou both tested negative for coronavirus and will be a part of the squad.
Potential XI
Odriozola has returned to the squad after missing 12 games this season, but he’s not expected to start today as his fitness is most likely a level or two behind the rest of the team.
Real Madrid: Courtois; Mendy, Nacho, Varane, Lucas Vazquez; Casemiro, Modric, Kroos; Asensio, Vinicius Jr, Benzema.
Sevilla: Bono; Rekik, Kounde, Diego Carlos, Navas; Fernando, Jordan, Rakitic; Munir, Ocampos, De Jong.
Prediction
It will be interesting to see how Real Madrid can bounce back after the heavy criticism they suffered for their poor performances recently. Los Blancos were under heavy fire from media and fans alike, and will probably look to show what they are worth today.
Last season, Real Madrid managed to defeat Sevilla twice. Lopetegui’s open football is not very good against Real Madrid, who struggle more against teams that defend with a low block and play on counter attacks.
Score prediction: Sevilla 1:2 Real Madrid
