- Rennes president Nicolas Holveck has made clear that star midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will not depart the club this summer.
Eduardo Camavinga is one of the most wanted midfielders in the world right. Only 17, the French midfielder has gained the attention of football giants like Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern.
Renne president Holveck has spoken to RMC Sport about his situation.
“To be honest, there’s nothing with Bayern,” Holveck told RMC Sport. “I don’t think you should get your hopes up about this [upcoming] market. “The bigger a club is, the more they’ve suffered from the crisis and therefore don’t expect any big signings this summer. If we are lucky enough to get into the Champions League positions directly, that will improve our chances in the market. If not, in no case will players leave.” he said.
Real Madrid is highly interested in the player but Rennes are demanding €70 million for the player, a sum that is considered too high even for clubs like Real Madrid and Bayern.
