Real Madrid will play hosts to Deportivo Alaves for the 35th matchday of La Liga.
Match Preview
Real Madrid will look to continue their 100% winning streak in La Liga by defeating Deportivo Alaves tonight. Los Blancos incredible streak since returning has seen them go to the top of the table, four points ahead of second-place Barcelona. For the first time in a while, Real Madrid have also had plenty of days to rest between matches.
In the last three games, Real Madrid have struggled to score. None of Real Madrid’s forward have scored in the last three games. In fact, Sergio Ramos (2) and Casemiro (1) have been the only goal scorers in the last three games. Hopefully, the return of Eden Hazard can improve the offensive output of the team.
Defensively Real Madrid have been very sound. Los Blancos defense has allowed only two goals in the last seven matches. However, Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal are both suspended for tonight’s match and Marcelo is out with an injury. It remains to be seen how Zidane will lineup the defense with two of his key players missing. It’s rumored that Mendy will start on the right and Javier Hernandez could possibly play on the left. Lucas Vazquez as a right-back is also an option to consider. Zidane has also called up two defenders from Castilla, both of them capable of playing on the left.
With only one win, one draw and 5 losses since the restart, Deportivo Alaves are only three points above the relegation zone. With a rough schedule (Real Madrid, Getafe, Real Betis, Barcelona) ahead of them, they will be looking for any points they can grab to avoid relegation.
Injuries & Suspensions
Marcelo and Nacho are injured and both Sergio Ramos and Carvajal are suspended. Luka Jovic has been in contact with an infected friend and is currently in quarantine as the protocol requires and won’t be playing tonight. James has been left out due to a technical decision.
Real Madrid Predicted Lineup

Score Prediction
Another must win game for Real Madrid means that Zidane’s men will do anything in their power to win this one. Alaves poor form should and five days of rest should be enough for Los blancos to win this one.
Final Prediction: Real Madrid 2 – 0 Alaves.
