Ramos, who debuted in 2005, reaches this record 15 years later. He has an impressive trophy haul with both club and country and is one of the nominees for the best defender of all time.
Not only is he the player with the most minutes to his name, he is also Spain’s record appearance-maker. His match against Portugal was his 173rd cap (128 wins, 25 draws and 20 defeats) as he tops of these standings, ahead of Casillas (167) and Xavi (133).
