- One player’s test returned an “inconclusive positive”.
- As the protocol requires, the player will be tested again.
Apart from many injured players, most noticably the clubs two rightbacks Carvajal and Odriozola, Zidane now might lose one more player due to a positive test for COVID-19.
UEFA requires a PCR test a day or two before each Champions League match Real Madrid face Inter on Tuesday and the protocol states that a second negative test would clear the player and allow him to play.
From what we know until now is that only one player has returned a positive test but Real Madrid have not announced who the player is but a second test will be carried out for the affected player to know if what is detected is a case of coronavius or a false alarm.
