- Real Madrid have yet to receive an offer for James or Bale
- It’s the clubs priority to sell both the players who are not prefered by Zidane
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and the club’s CEO Jose Angel Sanchez have made it clear that selling players will be a priority this summer. On top of that list are two names: James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale. Both of them are superstars but Zidane doesn’t seem to prefer either of them, and by the end of the 2019/20 season they requested from him to not be included in the match squad and not travel with the team.
They are both paid very well, with Bale being one of the best paid players in the club and two combined are a heavy hit on Real’s salaries, so getting rid of contracts is a priority for the club. But so far there has been no interest, at least none that’s been made public, about them.
Last season Gareth Bale has been linked with a move to China that fell apart at the last minute. James too had a chance to join Atletico but that move was also blocked by the club. Now it seems that there’s not that many teams interested in signing either of them. It looks like Real Madrid will face some difficulties in selling them.
