The Times is reporting that Kylian Mbappe has communicated to PSG that he wants to leave next summer. According to The Times who have published the contents of a meeting between Mbappe and his representatives and PSG, the French club has been notified that Mbappe won’t renew his contract. His current contract expires in 2022, and PSG might be forced to sell him next summer or risk losing him for free in two years.
Talks for his contract renewal have been going on for a long time now. PSG have reportedly offered to make him the best paid player by far in the club, surpassing even the earnings of Neymar. But Mbappe seems to have decided to leave and this is an opportunity that Real Madrid have been waiting for a long time.
Florentino Perez had the chance to sign Mbappe from Monaco but the player chose PSG instead, most likely because of the guaranteed playing time, something that reportedly wasn’t guaranteed to him by Real Madrid. Now, the big plan is to sign Kylian Mbappe and Camavinga in the summer of 2021, reinforcing the attack and midfield with one of the best players in the world and one of the most promising midfielders at the moment.
Currently, Mbappe is not training with PSG after testing positive for COVID-19. He will miss the clash against Marseille this weekend.
